300W Motor and Six-Blade Assembly
A 300W motor spins six 304 stainless steel blades at 13,500 RPM, enough for frozen fruit, vegetables and small ice cubes in single servings.
The Homeleader ECX Smoothie Blender Maker is a charming single-serve smoothie blender, best for single-serve smoothie drinkers. Rated 4.3 out of 5 across 1,534 user ratings. The main drawback: blade assembly can stick to the cup. We scored it 4.1 out of 5.
Looks are what sell the Homeleader ECX, and its 300W motor is what limits it. The retro body, pull-down lever and mason-jar cup make it a pleasure to keep on the counter, and it handles frozen fruit smoothies and shakes well. But it has one speed, you hold the lever the whole time, it's meant for short runs of under a minute, and it can't do the heavy work of a full-size blender.
NoFussDeal rates the Homeleader ECX Smoothie Blender Maker 4.1 out of 5. Last updated September 26, 2026.

The box includes a 21 oz Tritan portable cup with lid, a 17 oz mason-jar style cup with lid, and a straw, so you can blend in whichever cup you plan to drink from.
There are no buttons or settings: pull the lever down and the motor runs; let go and it stops.
A safety interlock, rubber feet and a silicone seal ring round out the design, backed by a 1-year warranty.

Check for the motor base, the 21 oz to-go cup and lid, the 17 oz mason cup and lid, the straw and the manual. Wash the cups, lids and blade assembly before first use.
Add liquid first, then soft ingredients, then frozen fruit or small ice on top. Use crushed or small ice rather than whole cubes.
Screw the blade assembly onto the cup, turn it over and seat it on the base. The blades won't run unless it is assembled correctly.
Pull the lever down to run the motor and release it to stop. Blend in short pulses and never run it for more than a minute at a time.
For most buyers, yes: we score it 4.1 out of 5. The Homeleader ECX is a good-looking, easy personal blender that makes one person's smoothie or shake well and comes with two useful cups.
Rated 4.3 out of 5 across 1,534 user ratings, with 71% giving it five stars and 7% one star.
300W, one speed and a one-minute run limit rule out heavy blending. The lever must be held down for the whole blend.
Rinse the cup and blade assembly straight after blending.
Four or five short pulls on the lever often blend a frozen shake better than one long run, and keep well inside the one-minute limit.

The Homeleader ECX is a good-looking, easy personal blender that makes one person's smoothie or shake well and comes with two useful cups. Its 300W motor, single speed, hold-down lever and one-minute limit keep it firmly in light-duty territory, and durability is the main concern.
Buy it for its looks and for simple daily smoothies and shakes. Don't buy it as your only blender, or for ice-heavy drinks and thick blends it isn't built to handle.
