The infrared sensor reacts quickly and only when a hand is in place, each dose of foam is the right size, and a 300ml bottle lasts a long time because foam uses so little soap. Battery power keeps the sink tidy, and the orange clog warning is a thoughtful detail. The drawback is refilling: the bottle is designed to be replaced, and refilling it yourself means prying off the cap and risking damage to it.
Buy it for the sensor and foam quality, and plan on either Xiaomi refills or a careful screwdriver refill. If you want to top up a dispenser from a big soap bottle with no fuss, choose one with an open refill hatch.
