Lift the fan section off the base and take the particle and carbon filter out of its packaging before putting it back in.
Pull one of the two fabric pre-filters over the filter base so it covers the intake all the way round.
Stand it on a flat surface where air can reach it from all sides and plug it in. The 360-degree intake means it has no front or back.
Tap the front button to cycle through low, medium, high and off. Low is the setting most owners leave it on day to day.
