Rotating Scrub Pads
Two motorised pads spin at over 150 scrubs per minute, combining steam with mechanical scrubbing. The rotation also drives the head forward, so you guide it rather than push it.
The Shark S7201 Steam & Scrub is a self-scrubbing steam mop for sealed floors, best for pet owners with sealed hard floors. Rated 4.4 out of 5 across 1,387 user ratings. The main drawback: water tank is fixed and cannot be removed to fill or empty. We scored it 4.4 out of 5.
The spinning pads are what make the Shark S7201 worth choosing over a plain steam mop, because they scrub while you simply steer, but the water tank does not come off, the head is light for stubborn spots, and some units have failed within months.
NoFussDeal rates the Shark S7201 Steam & Scrub 4.4 out of 5 at $159.99. Last updated September 26, 2026.
Two motorised pads spin at over 150 scrubs per minute, combining steam with mechanical scrubbing. The rotation also drives the head forward, so you guide it rather than push it.
A fingertip control on the handle fires a powerful, targeted burst of steam from the front of the head for stubborn stains and spots, on top of the normal steam flow.
Light suits quick clean-ups, Normal everyday mopping and Deep stuck-on messes, all selected from the handle. The mop is ready to use in 60 seconds.
LED headlights on the front of the head reveal hidden dust and debris, and the mop is designed for all sealed hard floors, including hardwood, marble, tile, stone, laminate and vinyl.

Remove loose grit, hair and crumbs before steaming, so the pads clean the floor instead of spreading debris.
Fit a clean pad to each rotating plate on the head. Choose the pad type that suits the job.
Fill the fixed 350ml tank with water through the filler opening, taking care with the cap.
Plug into a 120-volt socket and wait about 60 seconds for steam to be ready.
Choose Light, Normal or Deep on the handle, lower the mop and guide it while the pads spin. Use Steam Blaster only on stubborn spots.
Stand the mop upright to switch off, let it cool, remove the pads and wash them.
For most buyers, yes: we score it 4.4 out of 5. It heats in 60 seconds, the headlights reveal hidden dirt, and floors dry quickly.
Rated 4.4 out of 5 across 1,387 user ratings, with 72% giving it five stars and 7% one star.
Water tank is fixed and cannot be removed to fill or empty. Head is light for really stuck-on grime.
Wash the pads after each use and let them dry fully. Empty remaining water after cleaning by tipping the mop carefully over a sink.
Use the lowest steam setting for routine cleaning and use Steam Blaster sparingly. Extra water is the usual cause of streaks on wood and laminate.

The Shark S7201 makes steam mopping far less work. Its rotating pads scrub at over 150 times a minute and move the head along for you, the Steam Blaster handles dried spills, and three modes let you keep moisture low on wood and laminate. It heats in 60 seconds, the headlights reveal hidden dirt, and floors dry quickly. The drawbacks are the fixed tank, a head that is light for really stuck-on grime, and mixed reports on durability, including one unit that failed within months.
Buy it if you want a steam mop that does most of the scrubbing for you. Keep your receipt and the 1-year warranty details, and accept that you will be filling and emptying the tank on the mop itself.
