Infrared Sensor
An infrared sensor dispenses soap when your hand moves under the nozzle, and the dispenser lights up to show it has registered you.
The SVAVO Automatic Soap Dispenser is a well-designed dispenser with patchy durability, best for kitchen sink users. Rated 3.6 out of 5 across 645 user ratings. The main drawback: durability is patchy. We scored it 3.4 out of 5.
When it works, this SVAVO does exactly what a touchless dispenser should: no drips, no mess and the right amount of soap. The problem is how often it stops working, with early motor failures and some units arriving dead, softened only by customer service that replaces faulty units quickly.
NoFussDeal rates the SVAVO Automatic Soap Dispenser 3.4 out of 5 at $18.99. Last updated September 26, 2026.

Open the compartment on top and fit 4 new AAA alkaline batteries (not included). Avoid rechargeable or old batteries, which may not power it.
Unscrew the reservoir from the bottom to reach the wide filling opening.
Fill with liquid soap, thinning thick soaps such as dish soap with a little water, and screw the reservoir back on.
Press the power button to switch on and to choose one of the three soap levels.
Hold a hand under the sensor a few times until soap comes through. If it will not draw, check the intake tube for an air lock.
Stand it on a flat counter within easy reach of the tap, but out of the direct spray.
Only for some buyers: we score it 3.4 out of 5. Day to day, the SVAVO is a pleasure to use.
Rated 3.6 out of 5 across 645 user ratings, with 49% giving it five stars and 21% one star.
Durability is patchy, with motors failing within months. Fussy about batteries and may not run on rechargeables.
Wipe the nozzle and sensor area regularly to keep soap off them. Rinse the reservoir when changing soap types.
Dish soap and thick hand washes dispense more reliably with some water mixed in. They stay just as effective.

Day to day, the SVAVO is a pleasure to use. The sensor is well judged, the silicone nozzle does not drip, three soap levels cover hands and dishes, and refilling is clean. The batteries sit on top, away from splashes. What holds it back is reliability: motors can fail within months, some units arrive faulty, and it can be fussy about batteries. Responsive customer service softens the blow, but you should buy it expecting that you may need to use it.
If you want a tidy, no-drip touchless dispenser and do not mind the chance of a warranty claim, the SVAVO is well designed and well supported. If long-term reliability matters most, look for a dispenser with a stronger durability record.
